The Save Jake Email Petition!
The management of Save Disney Shows has found that an "email petition" is a decent way of making a statement to Disney. (We've already done this with the Kim Possible and Phil of the Future campaigns.) To participate in this petition you must send an email to adjl_petition@savedisneyshows.org using the format explained below. Before each save Jake day, Greg or another movement leader will collect your full name from the email and add it to the list. The headers of the messages will be attached as proof that the email exist. Selected messages may also be printed and attached. By doing the petition this way, we hope to make it more credible then a traditional "online petition" would be. This petition is not as good as a real paper and ink petition, but we feel that it is not a waste of time either.
Here's an example of an email from "John Doe."

I, John Doe, hereby give my consent to be added to the SDS email petition to Save "Jake Long." I enjoy the series and believe it deserves a third season. Sincerely, John Doe |
We expect everyone to put their name to the petition and tell their friends to do so as well. Please do not try to sign more than once, we want an accurate count or the whole thing is worthless. And please, sign with your first and last name, if you do not provide a first and last name you will not be added.
For legal reasons, here is a link to our Privacy Policy. The short version is, we will not sell your name or email address to anyone. A list of names without any other information will be available online. Only Disney will be able to connect names to email addresses. If you ever wish to be removed from the petition, you simply need to email us from the same email address.
